maybe we can have a calendar associated with this blog? I guess some will like opt-out (like me, i practically live at SSOM) and others opt-in (like Tak, does he still live at all? in Montreal?)
I find that I tend to cook for about 6 people regardless of who is signed up, mainly because I often forget to look at the board, so I don't really mind either way. I guess I'm there more days than not, so I might find opt out easier. On the other hand, if I forget to sign up and come in anyway, that's only bad for me, where as if I forget to opt out and don't come in, that's bad for the person cooking, so opting in might be the more considerate rout. It is a complicated and difficult question.
P.S. I'm away this Thursday-Tuesday, but will be back to eat next Wednesday, if anyone's signed up to cook. And I can cook on that Thursday, if no one else has signed up yet.

Regardless of opting in or opting out: I would like to eat on Thursday and won't be eating today as I am at the Doulgas.
